Hoboken on Bloom is the Garden Apartment of a classic, 1869, full-width brownstone (not a typical Hoboken "skinny") - a relaxing place to come home to after a big day in New York City. Its central location allows multiple convenient routes to Manhattan and easy access to Steven's Institute. This newly renovated apartment has all the amenities of home and accommodates up to 4 adults comfortably.
Every Hoboken host says “great location” but this really is. The apartment is located on a tree lined, brownstone street, with the benefit of being safe and quiet, while just a short, one-block walk to Washington Street (which is Hoboken's main strip) offering abundant restaurants, cafes, delis and shops. It is a 2 minute walk to the bus, 12 minute walk to the ferry or 15 minute walk to the PATH train, all of which take you into the heart of Manhattan.
The apartment has 3 rooms plus a galley kitchen, full bathroom, mudroom, back patio, front patio and separate laundry area for guests' exclusive use. There is a large wrap around couch in the living room which seems to be a favorite crash area after a long day walking NYC. It is separate from both sleeping areas, so you can relax without being on someone's bed! The main living area has a dedicated work space if you need to do some work from home while enjoying your Hoboken stay.
The apartment has a private front entry and private back door to the patio. There are 4 steps in the front of the apartment. The back door opens level with the backyard. So plug in the string lights, open one of the bottles of wine from the wine rack and enjoy the garden!
Most amenities to make your stay comfortable such as an iron, ironing board, laundry detergent, coffee, toiletries, etc. are provided. A playpen and changing table are available for families with little ones, as well as toys, games and books for children. If you are driving, we will provide you with a free on-street parking pass as well! If you have any questions, just ask.
Detailed, printed guides to sites, transportation, eateries, etc are available at the apartment, as well as a House Manual. If you care to receive these ahead of time by email, just ask.
