Bluebird Cottage is a charming, clean, two-bedroom cottage in rural Liberty, Maine. With one queen bed and two comfortable new twin beds, it sleeps up to four guests. Air conditioning keeps things comfortable during the summer months. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy living room with a Jøtul gas stove, Roku TV, games, puzzles; everything you need for relaxing evenings after a day of exploring. A dedicated workstation and Wi-Fi make it easy to stay connected or get a little work done. Outside, enjoy the private backyard, fruit trees, Weber grill, and Adirondack chairs, perfect for morning coffee or stargazing under clear Maine skies. Our bluebird nesting boxes welcome returning Eastern Bluebirds each year, inspiring the cottage’s name. Conveniently located near Lake St. George, Belfast, and Camden, Bluebird Cottage is also a great home base for the Common Ground Country Fair and Maine Fiddle Camp. Acadia National Park is about 70 miles away, with Bangor and Portland also within easy driving distance. Whether you’re here to explore, attend a local event, enjoy the outdoors, or simply unwind, Bluebird Cottage offers a comfortable and welcoming home base for your Maine adventure. For your peace of mind: smoke detectors, a carbon monoxide detector, and a fire extinguisher are provided on site. An exterior security camera is mounted on the front corner of the home and is positioned to monitor the driveway and entry points.
