Welcome to Dark Winds, a Brand New (built in 2026) spaciously designed Modern themed Cabin where the latest in modern comfort meets rustic luxury. Perfect for couples or single families wanting a great location with lots of activities such as fishing and swimming in any of the dozen ponds, Zip-Line adventure, and hiking right out of the front door. Nestled in the heart of Cliffview Resort, Dark Winds is centrally located to all of Red River Gorge's activities!
This cabin features two spacious master bedrooms, each with a king bed and its own private bathroom with step-in tile showers. Each bedroom comes with bedside lamps with built in charging ports. The tankless water heater is perfect for those extended vacation style showers! Outside, a beautiful landscaped fire pit is ready to toast s'mores. The Hot Tub with room for all sits under a great open view of the sky and woods. Relax on the plush outdoor furniture while your grill master enjoys the Gas Grill or Charcoal Grill provided.
The main room includes Modern features including 65'' Flat screen Smart TV connected to fiber optic Wi-Fi to enjoy on the plush couch seating. The living space also features large picture frame windows inviting lots of natural light while framing the beautiful forested surrounding. Dark Winds overlooks a fully stocked fishing pond. Guests are welcome to fish, swim or kayak in any of the ponds in Cliffview Resort. Dark Winds also offers a full size washer and dryer for convenience. Cabin has central heating and A/C giving you all the comforts of home.
The fully equipped kitchen includes modern conveniences including Refrigerator, dishwasher, oven/range, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, and all of the dinnerware and cookware you need making dining, meal prep, and mornings effortless.
Dark Wind is a single level home with no steps to access any of the cabin except for the fire pit area. A wheelchair ramp leads from the driveway to the Deck making Dark Wind it a great option for guests seeking a wheelchair friendly cabin or a cabin with minimal to no steps.
There are no grab bars or shower chair at this time.
Access is easy for 2wd vehicles on paved roads to a slightly sloped gravel parking area with ample parking space for vehicles and trailers.

Just minutes from Hollerwood off-road park. Cliffview Resort has direct access to the Daniel Boone Backwoods Off-Road Byway. Climbers are right next to The Cliffview Preserve, Muir Valley, and Beer Trailer Crags. Nearby areas inclulde: PMRP, Roadside, Miller Fork, and Torrent Falls.
Cabin is PET FRIENDLY for a well trained pet for a pet fee. Pets must be crated if left alone in the cabin.
All utilities are on reliable city connections.
