Glampers will adore this pet-friendly cottage, near Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The property is rich with rustic character and includes many handy, modern amenities. Guests at this property can truly disconnect from everyday life, as there is no television, radio, or telephone, so it’s a perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with friends, family, and four-legged companions.
The cottage will comfortably accommodate up to eight glampers. There are two spacious bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom features a double bed and a single bed. The master suite, on the second floor, has a large queen-size bed, and is light and airy, with gorgeous harbor views. Additional sleeping space can be found in the form of a double sofa bed and a single day bed in the lounge. For guests’ convenience, there are two stylish bathrooms, both with showers, so there is plenty of room for everyone to freshen up, ready for the day ahead.
Inside, the cottage has hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. The living area is cozy and inviting, with plenty of comfortable sofa space for everyone to chat and enjoy some downtime. Next to the living area is a large, six-seater dining table, which is perfect for long, sociable meals and drinks. There are sliding glass doors, which open out onto the deck and let in lots of lovely natural light.
A charming country-style kitchen provides a welcoming and enjoyable place to prepare meals. There are many handy, modern gadgets, such as a fridge, a freezer, an oven, a microwave, a coffeemaker, and a toaster. The host has provided all the dishes and utensils guests will need to whip up a delicious family feast.
Outside, the cottage is hidden among the tall trees and has a large, private deck area. Guests can relax on the comfy patio chairs, or enjoy an al fresco meal at the little table while drinking in the spectacular views of the harbor and the cove.
Guests can take advantage of some fantastic facilities at this great glamping site. There's a WiFi signal in several areas on the site, for those who need to stay connected. The site has its own dock area, with boats available to rent, including rowing boats and sailing boats. Guests who bring their own boats can rent a mooring or a space at the dock. For children, there is a fun rope swing feature, and also an on-site beach, ideal for families. The property includes a grassy lawn area, for all guests to enjoy, with a view of the harbor, and patio furniture.
