Cabin in Blue Ridge Lake, GA
Reasons to book
About this cabin rental
This is the mountain getaway you picture when someone says, “We need a weekend in Blue Ridge.”
Perched in the North Georgia mountains with beautiful long-range views, Darby’s Ridge gives you plenty of reasons to explore—and just as many reasons to stay right where you are. With three king bedrooms, a loft with two twin beds and three full bathrooms, there’s room for up to 8 guests to settle in comfortably.
THE VIEWS
They’re the star of the show. Step onto the wraparound decks with your morning coffee, grab a seat on the swing, or slow down at the end of the day and watch the mountains change as the sun goes down. This is the part you’ll miss when you leave.
SOAK, PLAY & STAY AWHILE
Slip into the private hot tub after a day in Blue Ridge, then head inside for a little friendly competition in the game room. Pour your favorite drink at the bourbon bar, put on a movie, or settle in for one of those nights when nobody feels like going anywhere.
THREE KING BEDROOMS + A LOFT
No fighting over who gets the “good room.” Three bedrooms each feature a king bed, while the loft has two twin beds—giving families, couples and groups space to spread out without sacrificing comfort.
YOUR OWN MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE
One of the coolest things about staying at Darby’s Ridge is having the Green Mountain Trail right there. Lace up your hiking shoes and head toward Lake Blue Ridge, then come home to that hot tub waiting for you.
BLUE RIDGE WHEN YOU WANT IT. THE MOUNTAINS WHEN YOU DON’T.
Spend the day exploring downtown Blue Ridge, waterfalls, wineries, breweries and everything North Georgia has to offer—or cancel the plans, stay in your comfy clothes and enjoy the cabin.
Darby’s Ridge is more than your home base for a Blue Ridge vacation. It’s one of the reasons to take the trip.
Darby’s Ridge is yours to enjoy during your stay. Guests have private access to the cabin, hot tub, wraparound decks and outdoor spaces. You can also step out and connect with the Green Mountain Trail for a hike toward Lake Blue Ridge.
Darby’s Ridge is your private mountain getaway, so we’ll give you the space to settle in and enjoy it. But you’re never on your own—we’re just a message away if you need anything before or during your stay. We’re also happy to help with Blue Ridge recommendations, local favorites or anything that can make your mountain getaway a little easier.
Darby’s Ridge is tucked inside Ridges Over the Lake, a gated mountain community in Blue Ridge’s sought-after Aska Adventure Area. Surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest, this is where mountain views, quiet wooded roads and outdoor adventure come together. Step out for a hike on the Green Mountain Trail toward Lake Blue Ridge, spend the day boating, fishing or exploring the Aska area, then head into downtown Blue Ridge for restaurants, shopping and local favorites. It feels wonderfully tucked away in the mountains while keeping the best of Blue Ridge within reach.
A vehicle is recommended for exploring Blue Ridge and the surrounding mountains. Darby’s Ridge is located in the gated Ridges Over the Lake community, with easy access to the Aska Adventure Area, Lake Blue Ridge and downtown Blue Ridge. Mountain roads are part of the experience, and the driveway to the cabin is steep. Most guests do well in normal conditions, but AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended during winter weather or if snow or ice is possible.
Darby’s Ridge isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s the kind of cabin where the house becomes part of the trip. Start the morning with coffee and a mountain view, hit the trail toward Lake Blue Ridge, spend the afternoon exploring town, then come back for the hot tub, games and a nightcap at the bourbon bar.
One of our favorite things about the Ridge is that you don’t have to pack every day with plans. Some of the best days here are the ones when you never leave.
A few mountain notes before you book: Darby’s Ridge is a true mountain property, and the driveway is steep. Most guests navigate it without an issue in normal conditions, but AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended if winter weather, snow or ice is possible.
We’re pet-friendly too, so approved dogs can come along for the mountain getaway.
And yes—this is the mountains. You may spot wildlife, hear the sounds of the woods and experience weather that changes quickly. We think that’s part of what makes staying here so special.
Come for Blue Ridge. You may find your favorite part of the trip is simply staying at the Ridge.
