Chalet in North Brabant (province)

About this chalet rental
The chalet features a cozy living room that feels spacious, with an open, fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and one with a bunk bed (80 x 190 cm). The beds are made upon arrival.
Our favorite spot is the spacious covered area. Thanks to the three enclosed sides, you can sit here comfortably sheltered even on cooler or windier days, with a view of the water. The garden borders directly on the pond and features a spacious lawn and a private dock. Wi-Fi, Netflix, and various board games are available.
There’s plenty to explore outside the chalet as well. For a day trip, attractions such as Efteling, Beekse Bergen Safari Park, Breda, Tilburg, and De Biesbosch National Park are all within easy reach. Prefer to get out into nature? The surrounding area offers plenty of beautiful hiking and biking trails! (Tips are available in the chalet.) This means you can just as easily plan an active day here as you can do absolutely nothing.
During your stay, you’ll have the chalet, the garden, the covered area, and the deck all to yourself. There are two private parking spaces next to the chalet. Guests also have (partial) access to our shed, where the washer-dryer combo is located.
The chalet and garden are not specifically equipped for (young) children. However, some toys are available. The garden borders the water directly, and there is no fencing along the water’s edge. There may also be plants and small objects that are less suitable for young children. Please keep this in mind and take appropriate precautions yourself if necessary.
TV channels may be limited, since I haven’t watched TV myself for over a decade :) It’s a smart TV, so there are plenty of options! There are plenty of board games :)
There is a minimum stay of 3 nights.
Good to know: Gilze-Rijen Air Base is located near Molenschot. On weekdays, you may occasionally see and hear military helicopters flying overhead, sometimes even with a vehicle attached below! Very occasionally, a fighter jet will fly by; in our experience, this happens at most about once a week. On weekends, it’s a lot quieter, and you’ll mainly see gliders and, every now and then, a nice old-fashioned propeller plane. It’s actually kind of fun to watch ✈️
