Bad building management and host and bad hygiene ruined a very potential stay
Its Ondina
1. Ondina area is nice, but beach class building is not. The whole building next door is under construction, so lots of noise during the day and very dusty to walk around(can’t keep my eyes open) Do not recommend now.
2. UNU is very hard and challenging to work with. He never reply my message on bookings nor reach out to me on WhatsApp. I had to WhatsApp the owner to get his contact. From checking in there was no instruction. And we didn’t have internet for the first 24 hours. It takes him about half day to reply a message.
3. Not clean! We got charged cleaning fee twice but he didn’t send anyone to clean during 5 nights we stay there. At night I found a cockroach in the shower. The shower floor is slipper and slimy. The carpet in the living room is very dirty. We have to rebook because we changed our schedule and can’t check in somewhere else.
4. If u have to book avoid UNU in the area. There are lots of rooms in the same building, just avoid booking with UNU 904,905 and 1108 all are “managed”by him.
5. We were informed we could pay to store our luggage after we check out. We paid 70 R for the locker and when we get the bags out, we went to the 0 floor to use the bathroom and change to airport outfit. And 2 guards were waiting outside the bathroom to ask us to leave the area! As if we were burglars! Earlier when we drop off the luggage we asked if we could use the restroom and we were allowed. But later when we come back, we were not allowed to use the restroom in the lobby before we leave the building! We were so confused and There was no respect and no hospitality at all! We didn’t go to the restricted areas such as the pool or the gym. Just the toilet! Very bad management!
