Our rental is located on the first block of Second Street steps from downtown.Our area has been described by visitors as a Norman Rockwell painting. Beautiful quiet safe residential area yet in center of everything. On street parking on 2nd Street in front of house and private off street parking behind owners home if needed. park your car and leave it, everything you need is an easy walk .OSF,Lithia Park,downtown plaza ,grocery stores all within an easy flat 5-10 min walk.Owners occupy rear house which is separated by fencing allowing complete privacy. This is the first year we have made our front home in the Railroad Historic District available for overnight renting .However, we have rented our back house for over 12 years with only outstanding reviews. While this home is new to the rental market, th owner Stacy is not., she has been a premier Vrbo host for the past 12 years .Our cottage is 950 sq ft, it is a stand alone home with no shared walls. Two bedrooms, one bath,with walk in shower. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable living area with covered front porch with rockers to enjoy.Two additional outdoor areas . one enclosed courtyard off kitchen with dining table.. A second artsy sitting area in front yard. No shortage of private outdoor spaces to enjoy. The privacy of a single stand alone home and the convenience of being steps from downtown is truly a rare find in Ashland.
