This hôtel promotes itself as 3 stars.I don't know who gave it this category.I can't imagine
it was the Tourist Office.
This morning I had my breakfast in a 3 star hotel in Santillana del Mar.It was superb and the Staff were professional ,just what you would expect from a 3 star hôtel.
On the other hand I refused a plate of food in the hôtel in Santa Cruz de Bezana. It was a dish of burnt peppers, overcooked ham, leftover ends of chips, all swimming in grease. The bar in this hôtel has a rough clientèle from the area who make a lot of noise. The hôtel management seem to think this is acceptable as they don't appear to take any action against this rowdy élément in fact the bar staff seem to encourage
it.I accept that it was a cheap price for the night but I did not feel comfortable staying there.
