The Space:

A large concrete kitchen island bench creates a beautiful central space for preparing meals, sharing a glass of wine or chatting over breakfast with your freshly brewed coffee, while the open fireplace adds warmth and ambience on cooler evenings.

Bifold glass doors open the living space beautifully onto a large outdoor entertaining area, creating an effortless connection between inside and out. Gather around the long timber table for relaxed country meals, fire up the large BBQ or enjoy a pizza cooked in the outdoor pizza oven. With a long stainless-steel bench providing plenty of space for preparing and serving, the outdoor area is made for lingering over meals and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.



The farmhouse offers two generous bedrooms and comfortably sleeps up to six guests, making it an ideal choice for families, couples or friends travelling together. Master suite offers a luxurious King bed, 2nd bedroom has a Queen plus a single with a trundle bed if the extra beds are required.



The beautifully appointed bathroom blends understated elegance with the warmth and character of country living, featuring a generous walk-in shower and refined finishes. Guests can indulge in our signature Lux Towels, adding a soft, luxurious touch to your stay.



Our farm stay offers families the opportunity to experience a little country life by feeding the farm animals who live on the property during your stay, with animal feed thoughtfully supplied for guests.

Guests have full access and private use of the entire property.



The Neighborhood:

Set in the quaint village of Carrick, this peaceful Northern Tasmanian location offers the charm of country living with Launceston just 15 minutes away. Surrounded by beautiful farmland and countryside, Carrick provides a tranquil base for exploring the region.



The Tamar Valley wine region is within easy reach, while nearby walking tracks, reserves and scenic landscapes offer plenty to explore. Launceston’s cafés, restaurants, galleries and attractions are just a short drive away, with Prospect Vale’s major shopping precinct approximately 10 minutes from the farmhouse. Local historic villages Westbury, Longford and Deloraine, have so much to offer and explore are all within 10-20 mins away.



Getting Around:

You will require a car to get around the area. Uber and Taxi's are available if required.



Other Things to Note:

Guest are supplied with an abundance of amenities including fresh Ashgrove milk on arrival. Guests who book for more than 4 nights will receive a complimentary bottle of locally sourced Highclare Estate Wine. Guests will be offered to purchase a grazing board filled with local produce prepared and supplied fresh for you on arrival.

Please note there are exterior security cameras on property. There will be sheep and alpaca on the property that guests are welcome to feed. The animals are all fenced in but please don't enter the paddocks where they are. The property has an outdoor swing and a relaxing fire pit. Please be careful when using these facilities. Children must be supervised.
