Best Western Plus Leamington Hotel & Conference Centre

There is a "Fun Zone," which is a great lounge area with many comfortable chairs and a large T.V. around a fireplace. It also has a badminton court, ping pong table, pool tables, children's climbing area and some arcade games. At the end of the Fun Zone, through a second set of doors is an indoor pool. The pool has a great slide, but only for children. It takes up a lot of space, leaving a much smaller area for swimming than most hotel pools offer.

There was dust on the light fixtures in my room and a slightly musty smell. There was no daily housekeeping (though this seems to be common in post-COVID hotel stays). The Booking.com listing mentioned a $6 breakfast buffet, which I was unable to add to my booking. When I asked the front desk person about how I could add it it at check-in she seemed irritated and said, "I don't even know now because you already have your booking." It turned out that there is no breakfast at all, except in the hotel restaurant, for considerably more than $6. Most of the options were around $20 so I didn't eat there.

The hotel restaurant served delicious food & the staff was friendly. There was a fun room with many games which was a nice feature.

The pool was closed for maintenance which happens, it's not necessarily the hotel's fault. The toilet wasn't working when we checked in but the maintenance staff fixed it while we were out & the hotel gave us a free breakfast voucher for the inconvenience.

Room was spacious. Nice lounge area.

I was very disappointed with the room. The carpet was very soiled. Couch was peeling and on my husbands shirt and not very comfortable at all. Bed was not comfortable at all. Found long hair in the bathtub. I was amazed how high the handsoap and lotion containers were located on the bathroom wall. I’m 4’8”. I guess I need to do a handicapped room. It would be nice to have provided a couple bottles of water. Read reviews on line but did not live up to it.

Smokers smoking right outside the doors was not pleasant. Cleanliness of the room. Coffee was spilled in the elevator and left there for awhile.
