i liked the grounds , the bathroom , the lady that worked in the gift shop, the bar tender
there was no easy way to get coffee in the morning, i believe due to high cost of room breakfast should be included , elevator was very old and creepy.. food in the bar area was not good, cheese tray and ravioli not good, pool was not open

Location
Often long queue at reception and you had to ask at reception for housekeeping to happen ie for beds to be made up and coffee milk etc refreshed . Given the cost of the hotel this should have been automatic .
Swimming pool advertised when booked but was closed during the week when we were there .

Lovely old school charm and has a feel of grandeur. A little dated in spots but that is part of what makes it so nice.

Location was good
We stayed 3 nights, 4 days, they never cleaned up the room or refill the coffee bar, or bother to change the towels, although we requested them twice to do so.
