Comfortable, safe, other guests in community rooms friendly

The free Wi-Fi was on and off on the 3rd floor . The Decor was old and good use a paint job . Price was excellent and what was important was supplied

Was good, very servicial the People, very educated and helpful.

That is near at the university hospital. And i saw the price and i liked.

The room doesnt have phone, no service room, i dont liked the bathroom and the room for the money that i paid, i can find another hotel for the same price but to much better the room and the bathroom.

We won't be using or recommending this guest-house again.

location is convenient

Just making the reservation was VERY complicated and stressful; the staff seemed confused and made multiple errors, which did not inspire confidence and which added to stress for a family organising a funeral. The beds were squeaky and old, the rooms fairly noisy, everything felt institutional... we won't recommend again that our out of town guests use this location.

it’s not a luxury hotel but it suited our needs just fine and the price was great!

it’s close to the hospital, has great lounges on each floor to sit and work, balconies, very friendly staff and other guests

not enough plugs in the room but we made it work with our cpaps :)

It's great to find a very affordable place to rest for the night.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I liked that there was someone at the desk when I arrived.

There was no way for me to tell from the inside if the door locked when I closed it. The shared washroom was a bit farther than I thought it would be, but still, it wasn't a big problem.

Great location. There are very few places in North London. Very reasonable price. Very comfy. Felt safe there. Staff were amazing.

Overall, it met the expectations that I had, which were not high.

The location is great. I had to travel into the downtown core several times a day for work and the location of the hotel provided an easy commute. It is also close to shopping and amenities and the grounds of the property are beautiful and calm. The facilities were relatively clean and quiet. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and eat lunch or do some work. I enjoyed the walking trails and the river. The signage is clear and it was easy to find the parking area for the hotel.

I traveled alone and noticed immediately that there was no deadbolt on my room door. The door required a key to enter, but I would've liked the added security of being able to lock the door from the inside. The balcony was very dirty and did not offer any furniture so that I could even use the space. The windows of the patio door and the main window in the room were FILTHY. When I arrived and checked the bed, I found hair on the sheets and inside the pillowcases. The night table looked dirty and the bathroom floor was sticky. The main living room was hot and smelled musty with no fresh air or option to open windows. I would've liked to work in that space if it wasn't so smelly and hot. The fridges in the kitchen were also really dirty- inside and out. It would be great if the rooms had little bar fridges. Several lightbulbs were burned out and the only lamp in my room didn't work at all. Finally, the TV in my room was a joke. It was a tiny computer monitor and half the channels didn't work. I was glad to have my laptop.

The door to our room was ajar when we arrived. The tv was the size of a large iPad. The “queen” bed was barely a double size.

A Valuable Stay!

I really liked the location and the beautiful property and the rooms have private patios to relax on while looking ober the peaceful and quiet grounds. Also the staff were very polite, friendly and courteous. All for the best rates in entire city. Trust me this "stay" has real value.

At first I heard that were shared bathrooms. That was enough right there, I thought, "I'm not staying there!" -but, I was wrong, the public facilities were large, private and exceptionally clean. Bravo!

It was adequate for our needs since we were out all day volunteering at an event in London.

It was a very quiet location. I liked the self-serve coffee in the common-room in the morning. The building and surroundings felt safe. Parking was good.

When we arrived, there was a bulb out in the fixture above the bed, the side-table lamp did not work due to a loose connection. The bathtub drained poorly. In the middle of our 10-day stay, we were informed that maintenance was going to install a bar in the bathtub area the next day. There was no effort to clean up the mess, so we arrived back at our room with bits of grout, etc all over the bathroom floor and in the bathtub. Feeling less than excited to have to clean that up.

Good value, clean, friendly staff

Beds and pillows were comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff and good location for family visits. Good price. Very clean and complementary coffee/tea

The room had an institutional smell to it that didn’t fade. Updated paint would be goid

You get what you pay for.

Good local, quiet and cheap.

The mattress was shot and sagged in the middle making for an uncomfortable night.

Very good

Our 2-night stay was for medical reasons and the Guest House was 5 mins from the hospital. The room was equipped with a full fridge, microwave, kitchen sink, dishes and dishwasher so we were able to take our meals in the room. The shower stall in the bathroom had a convenient grab bar and lots of shelves for putting things on. There was abundant hot water at all times. The bed was comfortable and the heating system was quiet and warm.

The posts on the foot board of the bed had square tops with pointed sides which we kept banging into as there was very little space between the bed and the kitchen area. These bed posts are dangerous as I now have two very bad bruises on my left thigh.

Very good

I like the location, as close to who I am visiting. The price is great, given that I am not spending lots of time in my room. The furnishings are just enough and the amenities are just what I need, not overly expensive.

Given what I need from the location and experience, there is nothing that I don't like.

Clean rooms and comes with a kitchen, but a bit pricey. Other hotels will give you more for $100+

Booking.com should really list the price including all the fees/taxes so we know the FINAL amount we're paying.

Lots of people with mental health issues staying there due to contract with social service providers. Quite unnerving.

my stay at your guest house was a bonus to the reasons coming to london

the tv was useless in terms of reception as I like news and not an option I found one of your male clerks very unpleasant natured .As when I went check out he was criticizing another staff at least I think he was a staff member >this should have been addressed in private not in an open area any one in a position of leadership or should know this so it will have an affect on my staying there even though I loved the location and room for the purpose I was there Thankyou.

Our stay was great. Reception extended our stay graciously because of a blizzard up North

Location to the University Hospital was wonderful. Not knowing London, it took a lot of anxiety off our shoulders to be only a block away.

Attention to a broken armchair leg should be right away for safety sake.
