very comfy bed & spacious room. good pillows.
shower water pressure is great too.
needs black out curtains. also the bed spread cover is awful - i really very much dislike the feel of it, its very rough and unpleasant.
a longer breakfast time would be nice - they start closing the doors 15-20 minutes before ending & it’s super busy and becomes more squishy and uncomfortable

The staff were very friendly. The hotel was very clean and the room was nice and modern.
There are two major faults with this hotel:
1. The staff need to inform guests that their parking lot is not safe. Winnipeg has a major issue with theft and car break-ins and, while this is not the fault of the hotel obviously, they need to make this apparent to guests. The only parking is outdoors - we met multiple guests who had had their cars broken into the night before. When I asked if the parking lot was safe the receptionist said it wasn’t but, had I not asked, I wouldn’t have known. I saw multiple other guests check in without being told of this. We had to bring literally all of the contents of our car inside to deter a break in. Every single thing. Additionally, parking is 20 something dollars. 20 dollars to potentially have your windows smashed. I’d recommend that the hotel formally tells each guest to empty their car entirely and remove the parking fee (or make it 5 dollars or something).
2. The breakfast was only okay. The area where it’s served is lovely but the egg I had was literally like eating leather. Pretty off putting.
