Sonesta ES Suites Toronto Markham

We stayed here for a couple of nights and really enjoyed our stay. Our suite was the perfect size for our family — two adults, our baby, and our two dogs. It was very cozy, spacious, and well equipped. We had two queen-sized beds in the bedroom, which gave us plenty of space, and the beds were really comfortable. The suite was also clean and well maintained. We really appreciated having a kitchenette with a nice-sized fridge and an electric stove, which was especially convenient while traveling with a baby. It was also nicely equipped with cups, plates, utensils, a coffee maker, as well as coffee and tea, so we had pretty much everything we needed during our stay. There were also two nice-sized TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. We were on the second floor at the end of the hallway, right near an exit, which was very convenient with two dogs. It made it so much easier to take them out for walks without having to go all the way downstairs and through the lobby each time. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We especially appreciated that they had a playpen set up in our room for our baby, as we had requested, before we arrived. It was such a thoughtful touch and made things so much easier for us. Our baby really enjoyed having a safe little space to play. We also had the chance to enjoy the swimming pool during our stay. It was nice to have the option to use the pool, although the chlorine seemed quite strong, as my skin was itchy afterward and my eyes were quite red. Perhaps the chlorine level could be adjusted a little. The continental breakfast was decent and convenient, although we would have enjoyed a bit more variety in the bread and pastry selection, such as croissants. Overall, we felt the room was a great value for the price and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back if we're in town again!

There really wasn't anything we disliked about our stay, but I did have a few small suggestions. A smart TV would be a nice addition in the future, as it would give guests the option to watch their own streaming services and favorite channels. We also had the chance to enjoy the swimming pool during our stay. It was nice to have the option to use the pool, although the chlorine seemed quite strong, as my skin was itchy and my eyes were quite red after just swimming for less than an hour. Perhaps the chlorine level could be adjusted a little. Lastly, the continental breakfast was decent, although we would have loved to see a little more variety in the bread selection, such as croissants or other pastries.

Spacious for my family with little kids. Enjoyed the breakfast and pool. Having kitchenette and laundry on site comes in handy.

Mattresses are little too soft for my own liking.

The room is big especially there's a kitchen. I also like the breakfast they offer, I wish they offer more meat but it's decent so it's okay. I also like that the staff allow us to do 12 noon checkout since my sister and I still needs to do something and we need to leave our family member in the hotel.

The room has a bit of smell that's kinda awkward. I hope they put a scent something that will help to make the room a lot more better. It's kinda off as well that there's no cafe nearby wherein you can stay after the checkout time. You really need to have a car or just book uber which is kinda expensive tho.

The breakfast had a lot of variety which was enjoyable for myself in the whole family. The beds are very comfortable and lots of pillows, very comforting, soft and plush.

Way too much chlorine in the pool. Very strong and made a few of us feel pretty nauseous afterwards. The hotel has a lot of carpet in the hallways and in the rooms which need to be replaced or just torn out.
