Location and hotels charm

Customer services were not very helpful regarding booking trips and taxis prior to arrival

The place is fantastic and you can feel the history. The staff were brilliant and very accommodating. If you are experiencing Gibraltar, this hotel is part of the experience

This is only minor issue. We brought usb cable to charge devices. And yes the novelty of the English plugs was great. But a USB + plug socket in the room would really have helped. Luckily, the receptionist could help us with charger. So thank you.

It was exactly where the wedding was so perfect for us staying

I found having to cross the main road very frightening at times as it’s a busy road to get to the swimming pool. It would be really good to have a zebra crossing there. It would make life a lot easier for people especially when you’re elderly and slow. I thought the breakfast was not good very little to choose from I have had far better quality breakfast in much cheaper, lowest star hotels very disappointed with it for the price The meal in the evening was very nice but to be aware you have to add sides which are not cheap to everything which increases the price quite dramatically

Breakfast was good, location good we have stayed in this hotel many times in the past

We were there with 18 members of our family for the night before our wedding (5 rooms booked, 2 family room/suites) and a table for 18 in the restaurant. Our room, as the bride and groom was the worst accommodation we have ever had there, it was very small, no terrace and didn’t even have a long mirror, very disappointing. The check in process was archaic, your PMS must be much outdated. The check- in took circa 15 mins and required the receptionist to have to step away from customers to photocopy details. The whole process felt like something from the 60’s. As an ex hotelier your check in process is talking a good 10/12 minutes longer than it should.
