It’s a fun accommodation. Brings back the nostalgia of my childhood. The kitschy 70’s themed room and check-in area. Loved the fine details like the rotary phone and free yo-yo and comic book. The amenities (pool/hottub/deck/ping pong table room) were great. Free bike rental. Walking distance to the the lake and lakefront park.
It felt a bit rundown from the outside. The location of the hotel felt a little bit sketchy (groups of homeless people in the area). It definitely has a motel feel despite being a hotel.

So cute and kitchy. Nice to be right downtown and the free rollerskates, bikes, stickers, yoyo's and ping pong/video game room was top notch.
My 10 year old said it reminded her of Mexico.
Colorful and fun but kinda rough.
The pool and hot tub seemed old and not really maintained well. The stucco on the bottom of the pool was pokey and entrances to the pool was not very accessible and the hot tub jets were not working. But it was not the main reason we were there so not a deal breaker.
Also a micowave/kettle would have been nice in the room so we could make snacks.

Fun family and pet friendly facilities. Lots for kids to do on site as well. Fabulous location for walking and so much to see do and eat close by. Very friendly helpful staff.
I would prefer to make coffee in room, but they do have coffee, wonderful tea selections and hot chocolate at front desk.
I do feel quite a bit more attention should be taken to cleanliness of the whole site.

Old hotel, room did not match photos. Neighborhood a little sketchy.
