The pool area was great and we were the only people using it.
Everything was fine except for the murphy bed was horrible! They need to put a decent firm mattress bed in these rooms.

The Lodge at Vail had terrific restaurants, a beautiful pool and hot tubs, spectacular views, and very large balconies.
Certain parts of the hotel that were much older were in need of repair or currently undergoing repair. Many rooms had portable AC units that were a bit of an eyesore, but at least kept the room cool. The Roman shades in our room were falling down and actually fell apart one night.

Great room layout
Facilities maintenance issue: Hot tubs were very cold- one not working. Apparently this hot tub has been closed for year plus. Then we discovered the showers had no hot water after 2 pm as we dressed for an afternoon wedding.

Comfortable beds

We had 2 days with out hot water in our room
Most of the hotel had lost its hot water Saturday & Sunday
Had a disappointing experience in the spa where we were told we can shower
I was lead into the spa section because there was a man working in the bathroom area where the showers and change rooms and lockers were.
The shower was given had a broken shower head and squirted water all over my belongings
Also hot tub outside was closed Saturday and Sunday
