Location couldn't be more perfectly central.
If I were to be back again, I would explore doing car rental for the days that we do the excursions since valet is $65/day plus tax.
The valet staff though was quick and organized with retrieving our car within 15 minutes, which is a lifesaver for not having to self-park, saving ourselves the headache of navigating the congestion in Waikiki.
Room service was also excellent and we felt very much cared for by our room attendant, Nori, who went above and beyond for the entirety of our stay.
The junior suite has enough space for a table and couch, which made for a very
comfortable living space. The daily activities (orchid lei-making, ukulele lessons, arts and crafts), saltwater pool and shave ice are a great touch. Would definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Laylow Hotel in Downtown Waikiki!
The hotel offers a $25 daily voucher, which was a great perk, and we really enjoyed the excellent coffee and restaurant on-site. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the island.
The fitness room, while small, was well-equipped, clean, and had everything we needed for a workout.
The staff was warm, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. As a lovely surprise, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift basket, which was such a nice touch and made us feel appreciated.
Overall, the Laylow exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and well-located hotel in Waikiki!

Great location, very central in Waikiki. Plenty of good food options nearby. Bed and pillows were very comfy.
Sound insulation was very poor, we could hear vehicle noise from the adjacent access road as well as loud music. The room was quite dark even with all lights being turned on. There was some difficulty on checking in whereby reception staff held onto my passport after with no attempt at contacting me for 5 days until I realised it was missing. Raising this incident with the manager was met with a dismissive attitude. We asked for a room upgrade which was given to us the next day.
