Room had a nice view of the ocean
Hotel was under renovation, but didn’t detract from the results I experienced with results of the areas that had been completed.

The building work! It didn’t make the Hawaii experience feel special. It was also noisy. I can see that it does need a good spruce up.

The hotel is in the best location on Waikiki.
The hotel is undergoing a really massive remodel. The lobby is gone and you walk through construction tunnels to and from the elevator. There are workers and debris and tools everywhere. The room has noisy chipper air hammers removing tile from the bedroom next to ours and was loud all day, lucky we just left to go to the beach but if we needed a nap or had little babies it wouldn’t have worked.
