The lake was beautiful, the lake loop trail was a great walk, food was excellent, room was clean, parking and shuttle was easy
Rooms could maybe use a refresh and a boot brush at each cabin (shoes got muddy on the walk)

Beautiful location, service good
facilities rather tired, no cold beer, overrun with day trippers. We stayed 30 years ago and I don't think anything has been updated much since then. Lift from car park should be less than 5 minutes but took 20 minutes due to tourist congestion - why not swap the bridge around so that people can take photos and not stand in the traffic lane? Tried to get a cold beer and was told the fridge was playing up - it's not rocket science to keep some in an ice bucket! Barman complained of being really busy but the service is limited to hotel guests only - surely they know the numbers!!
