It was inexpensive compared to the Best Western in Chemainus. It was close to the activities I was engaging in. There was availability for the nights I needed. The beds were new and comfortable. The owners are clearly trying to upgrade the place. Towels and sheets were clean and new. There was a fridge and TV. The staff were friendly.

Too much highway noise and noisy air conditioner. Some renovations had been done in my room (208) but there was still work to be done. They are understaffed, so no one is monitoring the front desk or answering the phone. Our sink was slow to drain.

It was quiet and pretty

No air conditioning, just loud fans in the room. They said no smoking, and yet the people in the room next to us were smoking on their front door. No shelter area for the smokers which is probably why the neighbours smoked outside their doors

Clean and green area for the dog

Pet friendly shouldn’t be on 2 nd floor. It would have been nice to have a dark colored cloth to wipe pets feet. Bowls for the pet would have been a nice touch
