Loved the walkable neighborhood to so many lovely cafes, small shops, parks. Loved the little common area - should have coffee maker though. LOVED the tiger wallpaper in the hall!!
Better lighting in the stairwell, which is painted black as night.

We were very excited to stay in this small hotel, because it's one of the very few in the Plateau and it's close to so many restaurants and shops. The decor is definitely one of a "pensione": homey and cozy... but that was pretty much all we liked.
Our room (No. 1) was very small, with very basic amenities, and had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The beds were not particularly comfortable. There were no wall outlets available for charging our phones, except for one connected to an old alarm clock. The bath towels were stained, even though they appeared to have been freshly washed. The overall cleanliness of the room, especially the stained carpet, was not pleasant. Given the price we paid ($255 USD), I’m not sure I would stay here again.
