I would return

The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. It was easy to get to and easy to get back onto the highway.

The stairs from the second floor are very narrow and I'm sure not up to code, need to be careful going down. Breakfast was a little on the sparse side and the waffle maker wasn't sprayed so the waffles stuck to the point where it came off in bits and pieces. Only one kind of muffin and bagel so it would be nice to have a choice.

Locals or former locals not allowed

It was easy to adjust the room to a comfortable level.

The policy of not allowing locals to book/ stay. We have recently relocated for employment but still have to come back every couple of weeks for visitation with kids. We have been booking hotels and never had an issue with still having 'local' ID. We will never book here again as it was a hassle to prove we reside in BC. We have been booking hotels every second weekend since the summer, and this is the only hotel that refuses local patrons. There are family's in our same situation, and this hotel has made it harder for people to be in transition with their lives while maintaining a semblance of normal for the kids. We thought we would try a different hotel, but we will not be back. Even when we get our BC ID, we will not stay in another Super 8.

Would stay again. Price was good and rooms are clean.

Nothing fancy but very clean.

Stairs upto second floor are very steep and a hazard for anyone elderly.

Good value for the stay.

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I'd give them a 10 out of ten. Breakfast was good. Waffles, toast and pastries, yogurt, etc.

It's a very old building. No elevator. The stairs are really steep and small so carrying luggage up and down was awkward. The floors were extremely squeaky and I felt sorry for the people below us. Tip - make sure you do get on the top floor otherwise I'm sure it's noisy below.

Good value, good location, very clean, friendly staff.!

Regular motel, but very clean and close to everything. I changed my room to one with only one bed, but maybe that was not so smart, as this room was on the ground floor and so much more exposed. But it was comfortable and big enough. Had all the things one needed including coffee maker. I liked the free coffee all day and evening. Breakfast was ok.

The card access was not working many times. But as I was next to the reception, it was no problem. Maybe they are not used to people staying more than one night.?

Excellent Staff made our experience exceptional

The location, breakfast, value for the money and to me the Staff put this hotel over the top, courteous is an understatement, the front desk staff was incredible

The hotel is older, dated and the staircases are steep, however it is clean and absolutely great value.

Comfortable and affordable

Excellent coffee and muffins for breakfast. The room was large and the TV worked well. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

No elevator to the second floor. I had to carry my suitcase up and down a narrow staircase. I'm 73......really unsafe. Next time I'll book the ground floor.

Very uncomfortable experience.

Liked the location.

Did not like the steep stairs that you had to walk up and down with your luggage. That’s a risk for falls right there. Didn’t like the fact that I was called by the receptionist at the super 8. 2 hours before my family’s arrival to tell me that I couldn’t stay there because I lived in Lethbridge had to explain that I booked the motel for family that was coming from out of town which made me feel very uncomfortable with all the questions. this motel was booked a couple of weeks in advance, so I’m not sure why they decided to call me two hours before my families arrival. This is the 2nd time staying at this motel and it will definitely be my last .. don’t waste your money on this motel . And the coffee is horrible.

Would stay somewhere else

The front desk was friendly at night.

That when I went into the room, beer was in the closet and I told them about it, the night desk said they will put in the complaint and talk to the morning person. But when I did they said well, and avoided it and just said nothing they can do.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast area and food was good. The room itself was just okay for one night.

The price, breakfast and location were good.

The smell in our room. I think the carpets should be replaced. My daughter thought it smelled like urine.

No the best experience

location

first night no tv. had to wait 45 min, the maintenance guy in my room. Tired. No fun. Next day I have to shower with very hot water because the cold water was not working. I had planned go away that I did but before I told the front desk ladies. when I came back, late I night the front desk ladies did not know if the issue was solved. I was lucky that somehow as fixed I really did not want to wait again for the maintenance guy

Medical stay.

Staff has been very accomodating. We has troubles using the stairs and have been able to stay on the main floor.

We have a pick up truck. The parking lot isn't built for trucks. Parking can get quite tight when full.

Great, clean room and WAFFLES!!

The rooms are spotless!, The beds are really, really comfortable. And the breakfast - included are WAFFLES, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cold cereals. I was impressed by the selection! All of this is included in the room rate, which was reasonable.

Beware the stairs; ask for a room on the main floor. The stairs are steep and seem to go forever, and there is a small door at the top of the stairs that makes it almost impossible to get through while dragging your luggage.

This place needs a major renovations The room is outdated poor furniture Actually you should be embarrassed by which you have The breakfast was terrible The bread was hard so it had been sitting out for a least a day It does not get that hard in an hour even butter would not soften it The only thing new in the room was the TV & that was old

Great Stay

Amazing all around! Breakfast was simple but good. The room was quite big and clean. It has a designated parking lot and is very close to restaurants and services.

Bed and pillows were comfortable Room window opened. coffee was good. Staff were friendly.

Toilet continually ran. Sink tap dripped. Could only do wifi work in the lobby due to not working well in the room. Chair arm broken.
