Decor is dated, but the room was huge, clean, and in excellent condition, with great ocean views. The water pressure was exceptionally good, unlike some other accommodations on the Sunshine Coast. This was a well thought-out lodging option. Dinner was very good, and staff recommended a lovely walk along the shore across from the hotel.
It would have been lovely to have some sort of breakfast, especially since there are no dining options within a short drive.

Location was awesome
Staff members were helpful and kind.
Restaurant was fabulous.
Whatever had been used to clean the room or give it a “fresh scent” was offensive to us. Has to air out the room.

Location was nice, bedding and 2 person bath tub was nice.
Didn't know that our room wasn't in the historic lodge but in a separate building behind the lodge. Lots of small fixes needed, and just sloppy work. Loose bathroom door handle, loose toilet paper holder that squeaked, sign scotched taped to the wall, bathtub knobs facing in opposite directions, bathtub spout loose and wobbly, power cord to the tv hanging over the fireplace and down the wall, hair dryer hanging from the wall, 2 window blinds missing the valances, alarm clock was outdated with hook up for an iPhone 4, house coats were cheep and well used. Not a luxury hotel
