This accommodation is located right in the heart of beautiful nature - forests and lakes. During our visit the forest was gorgeously coloured so we enjoyed the fall foliage. Our room was located in the main building and was big with two double beds, and a big bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Soundproofing was also good as we didn’t hear guests in neighbouring rooms or the hallway. The hotel breakfast was very good with plenty of options for both hot and cold breakfast. It was priced at ~$25 pp. The hotel also offers lunch and dinner (however we did not get these meals there). The restaurant was big with nice views of the lake. The hotel offers a wide range of activities - canoe and kayak on the lake, fishing, tennis, pool, even a hydroplane excursion - and there are hiking options nearby which makes this a great place for an active holiday. Staff was very friendly and helpful and of course communicated in both English and French with no issues. We recommend this place and we would come back for a longer than 1 night stay to fully take advantage of all this place has to offer.

In our room, it seemed that no vacuuming was done unfortunately so we wish it was a little cleaner as we could feel the sand/dust on the floor when walking. The price for breakfast could be clearly indicated somewhere as we couldn’t find this information anywhere until we asked the staff.

- We paid 600$ for 2 nights and had selected a room with balcony (explicitly mentioned in the description) but were told at check in that there was no more room available with balcony. There was the option to book the same room without balcony on booking (currently around 400$ for 2 nights). Fell like I’ve been ripped off. Ended up with a room on ground floor with shared garden with people and kids running past our window all the time with absolutely no privacy. - Breakfast at that price should be included especially given the quality of it (industrial bread, no individual yogurts, bottled concentrate juice, industrial jam…). - quality of bedding is really bad and small - room was not 100% clean, lots of dirt in the bathroom around edges - mosquito nest at the window was completely broken
