We were impressed with how clean the ro9m and washroom were. I usually carry my own bedsheet and towel when I stay at an inn or a motel but I did not have to bring them out here. Check in was easy and uncomplicated even late in the night. We took a walk around and liked how quiet it was in the morning. The ship viewing was interesting which afded to our stay here. Buy one get one free at Early Bird was great too...heartfilling breakfast we hot the road!!! Great stay!!

Coffee wasn't provided even though there was a coffee...just two tea bags with sugar and creamer.

Spacious, comfortable room completely soundproof; wonderful bed, excellent shower; helpful and friendly hosts. Being so close to ships travelling through the Welland Canal was spectacular. Great destination hotel to learn how locks work and to see ships from around the world.

Screen door needs to be fixed (slams) in room 22.

Very clean, including the bathroom. The bathrooms have been modernized. Spartan but clean.

The exterior, the hallways and the public areas are run-down and ugly. The carpeting is ugly. The room furniture, doors and windows are battered. Windows did not function.
