I used to work at The Lion Motel many years ago …it does need an update but it was clean and comfortable …

We had 5 rooms for our Family Reunion 🫂. The Gentleman in the Office was so kind to all of us. I would definitely stay there again with our Family. I wish I knew the name of the Gentleman who worked there on Sunday. I would love to give him a Big Shout Out and a big Thank You from all 5 rooms 💕 💕
The entrance door to our room. We got locked IN and couldn't get that door to open. Took several attempts to get out. The screen door doesn't fit properly so therefore wouldn't close!!!

The motel is definitely older but it was clean. The sheets were nice and the bed was comfortable. Great location.
Stayed for 2 nights and no one came in to tidy my room or stock with fresh towels or more coffee or anything. They told me I had to ask if I wanted that service. I didn't know I had to ask. I've never stayed at a place that didn't come in to make your bed and refresh things.
