The. Breakfast was beyond expectations and the host were just so very nice and of course I I would return at a blink of an eye .For sure next year

Pleasant

Breakfast Was very good , very good presentation. The house is surrounded with lots of plants and flowers . We can use the terrace even it’s not for breakfast.

When I made the reservation , I specifically asked if the bed was for 2 persons Because it was precise that it was a small room .Booking confirmed that it was a “double “ bed but ,the bed in that room is what we call a 3/4 bed . It is much too small for two persons. My husband and I spent the night with feet outside the bed and I am 5’4’’ tall ! To narrow to for 2 persons to move normally during sleeping. For that reason I consider the price for the room much too expensive! The house seemed a bit neglected ex: electric wires that were out of order hanging on the ceiling of the balcony since a very long time, has it seems. The rugs beside the bed didn’t look clean, the grout between the tiles in the bathroom need to be refreshing sine a long time. In our room, renovations were made with cheap materials and decorate with cheap stuff to. Didn’t seen others rooms ,but our was very desapointing .

Wonderful stay!

Beautifully decorated ..very quaint ..wonderful friendly staff ….amazing breakfast!

The room was smaller than I thought it would be but it’s definitely comfortable and I will without a doubt recommend this place!

the location was very close to town centre with plenty of shops and restaurants.

wish we had a standup shower in the room.

A charming 'period' Auberge with great hosts at a very good price point

A charming, period, homely auberge in the centre of town. Very clean, very comfortable, spacious room with great beds. Excellent hosts. Great breakfast. A short walk to a very good restaurant.

Exceptional

The breakfast was fabulous! The place was so beautiful, especially the gardens and decor. The room was very comfortable and the hosts were professional and courteous. The home was on a quiet street within easy walking distance to town. We will return.

Lovely hosts and delightful chambre d’hote make a visit to Magog special

Everything about this property was lovable from the garden to the great breakfast on the veranda to the lovely quirky old French hotel-style bedroom with comfy bed. it is very well located to discover the pretty town of Magog and its lake. But best of all were the hosts, Renald and Jose, who were charming and delightful. Jose seemed to do the cooking (we loved the fruit laden crepe and the beautifully presented breakfast omelette) and Renald, although quite hard of hearing and moving with some difficulty, was front of house and made us feel so welcome.

A well located quaint BnB in a lovely town

Location was terrific, a short walk into town for dinner, and the waterfront park. Breakfast was amazing. We had a delicious omelette, a plate of local cheeses AND a steaming fresh croissant! We ate breakfast on the porch in the midst of the verdant garden. The room was small but had everything we needed, including a pleasantly firm mattress.

Lovely stay

It was a pleasure to stay with José and Rénald at their lovely house. The house is warm, clean and so cozy. They help you with recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Breakfast in the morning is just amazing. Parking at the house is so convenient and the location is so convenient and easy to find.

Charming hosts. Clean and comfortable rooms. No bath but nice shower.

Very nice breakfast. Good coffee. Nice they got up earlier for us to get to the slopes.

For skiing breakfast needs to be even earlier. Parking was already full at 8:15 am!

We love it at Amour & Amitié and highly recommend it. Can't wait to go back.

We have been here 5 times and we love it. The breakfast is exceptional with beautiful fruit and veg shaped into animals and hearts. A feast for the eyes. And really tasty too. Keeps one filled up to tackle hiking up and down Mt. Orford, as we did. The location is perfect, a couple of streets away from the main drag of rue Principale, and everything is in walking distance. We love the hosts Renald and José.

We'd like everything. The bed might be a bit hard for some people. This was in the large room on the first floor, Touretelle.

Lovely house, garden and warm welcome.

Wonderful welcome to lovely house, tastefully and joyfully appointed. Location is very good - and the garden and porch are superb for sitting out and enjoying a morning coffee or evening glass of wine with candlelight they kindly provided and plates for our charcuterie. Breakfast is a treat. Cleanliness great; beds comfortable; fridge available on second floor; cofffee/tea, and parking for bikes and cars is good. We were happy and charmed.

Best Place for a Couple

Property is very clean and comfortable - Room is perfect for a couple and price is affordable. Staff are very kind and always willing to accommodate you as best as possible
