Can't say we liked the motel but at $150 (with tax) price range,
it was a reasonable offer for the area, albeit on a high side.
I would give a low score here but considering the price, 7 sounds reasonable.
Would I stay again - NO.
This roadside motel shows its age and falls short of cleanliness standards.
Outdated decor and worn furniture. Visible dust and grimy surfaces.
Smoking odors and poor overall maintenance.

2 night get away with my daughter, location is close to downtown wiarton, check in was easy, staff was really nice, rooms were clean
Rooms are a good size, only complaint was microwave had no where to be plugged in

Top Notch felt like a nice get away from the big city. Our room had an old big tv, 80s style furniture and very nice sliding doors towards the inside garden. It is not by any means old, more like “retro”. Same goes for the dining area or the Top Notch Restaurant. It is a separate building with a great staff who, you can tell, has been working there for years and enjoys what they do. Definitely coming back if they are still open next time we come this way!
The only complaint we had was the smell of the couch, other than that it was a perfect stay.

Location, perfectly folded towels, clean linens, breakfast, excellent waitress
furniture and bathroom need a good renovation, floor needs a deep clean.
