We really liked the guy who worked the reception and who was one of the owners. He was very kind, friendly and helpful. The location of the motel was excellent, with views of the mountain and a very short walk to restaurants,shops and amenities.
The rooms are a little dated, but they are cosy and clean, and has everything you need.

The location and price were perfect. The lady at the reception was very nice and helpfull. Even gave us 15% discount coupons for a few good restaurants in town.
The place is passed it's glory days. We travel by motorcycle and love to sleep in little independent roadside motels. The pictures you see on their brochure or online are probably 12-15 years old. They just are not upkeeping the property. The non-smoking room was very smelly (we opened up the windows and let the breeze in while we went out for 3-4 hours and it was ok when we came back). The cheap price attracts all kinds of guests. We would not have stayed there a second night but for a pit stop (literally just to take a shower and sleep) it did the trick.
