Great location overlooking the water. Big, bright room. A small issue with a hair dryer was dealt with quickly. Restaurant below was fantastic!

Fantastic location in central Lunenburg, close to the waterfront, museum, great little shops, and free parking. Our room was maybe the best room we have ever stayed in. It was 2 stories, beds and bathrooms upstairs, kitchen with table and chairs downstairs, beautiful, clean, spacious. Fantastic view of the harbour.
The bathroom had a HUGE tub (with perhaps a jacuzzi function?) that we didn't use (no time) and an awesome powerful hot water shower. We made a last-minute booking there (the morning of the day we arrived) and had no problems at all. Very nice restaurant with excellent seafood chowder and chocolate mousse.
I had heard about their lobster rolls being amazing and we had two for dinner. There was lots of delicious lobster but it was served in a thin crusty toasted sandwich with no mayo, sauce, butter or anything to enhance the lobster flavour. So, just lobster in toasted thin bread. It was rather plain.
Also it started raining while we were having dinner on the veranda and the umbrellas did not cover us, so some of us got a bit wet. We couldn't move inside as the restaurant was full.

Good location
Because of unforeseen circumstances, the restaurant had to close. The host provided a free box meal which really wasn’t very good. There were many steep stairs to our room. The bed was so high, we could have used a stool to get into it.
