Harbour House Hotel

The rooms were nice and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Close to ferry to mainland. Nice touch with water station and apples available for free.

Hard to find coffee in AM unless you went to the restaurant. I just wanted coffee but it only has expresso in room.

One of the most comfortable beds ever. Gift bag with a glass water bottle, jellybeans, local information and a delicious cookie and cranberry shortbread on arrival. Really appreciated the lemonade and flavored water in the lobby too.

The hotel was renovated a while back and the rooms are large and pleasant. We really liked the shelves and open storage areas in the bedroom.

The hotel's internet service is absolutely pathetic. For the price of the rooms, this should not be an issue. Also, we found the room rates to be too high for what we received. At the price we paid, we should have at least received breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. A couple of additional issues: The TV in the room was set up so the volume could not be controlled by the remote and it was difficult to figure out how to raise the volume on the TV, shouldn't have been like this. Also, we found the carpets throughout the hotel to be stained and it gave the appearance that the place is unclean, also not what one would expect from the higher-end nightly price.
