Good facilities in the room (personal fan, privacy curtain etc). Walking distance to main town, bus stop close by. Bar downstairs reasonably priced, great happy hour.
The room was very hot, despite the outside temperature being 12 degrees. No outside food allowed downstairs in the bar area, so there’s only a small space upstairs in the kitchen to eat & chill. Price is a lot for a hostel but that is Banff

The best location in Banff in my opinion, we had a great time in the 4 person mixed dorm. Everyone was respectful of each others space. The room and bathroom were clean. If you don’t plan on staying in your lodging for most of the day, a hostel is a great alternative.
The bed was extremely squeaky and the lockers for personal items were really small. Limited parking.
