The location and view. The grounds are very well maintained.
Water pressure was terrible. “Free breakfast” was inedible and awful.

Fabulous ground floor room overlooking the gardens and beach. Great view to wake upto. Attentive staff who made s very welcome. Easy bus ride and 50 minute walk to Tofino. Good facilities on site - bar, restaurant, laundry.
Breakfast was a challenge with so many ill disciplined children taking and wasting food and generally their behaviour being ignored by some parents.

Location was excellent. Front desk staff was very helpful and professional. Mr Edgibe was the best. The manager was excellent and he drove us back from bear watching trip. Mr Eric who drove to whale watching tour departures and drove us back was very helpful and gave us useful information. Even Mr James who drives shuttle from visitor centre to town centre was excellent. The countryside and forests are beautiful. Coastal scenery is amazing
Tofino town is very remote and cost us 600 Canadian dollar from Victoria. Our seaplane to Vancouver got cancelled due to bad weather and we struggled for alternate. Result was we missed our flight Vancouver to Calgary. We had to hire a west coast ride for another 600 Canadian dollars to departure bay in Nanaimo and then ferry to Vancouver and then a taxi from horseshoe bay to Vancouver airport pay for another flight to Calgary. Very expansive
