Tofino best place to stay

This is the place to stay if you are going to Tofino. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had the best view of the ocean and can hear the waves at night, which is very soothing. Rooms are very comfortable, and I couldn't ask for anything better. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

Check in staff was excellent.

All as hoped for .... were not disappointed at all.

Parking spaces are very tight but I know this is standard nowadays. Bigger trucks, ect..

Beautiful location, on beautiful McKenzie Beach! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and the resort had everything you need!

Wish I could’ve stayed longer

Breakfast was the best I ever had at a hotel. And I pretty much lived in hotels for half of my work life.

The hot tub was pretty small considering the amount of rooms. We had like 2-3 families wanting to go in at the same time.

On the Beach

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The location, the size of the room, the breakfast and the staff cannot be beat. The overall quality of the service and the hotel was better than anything I have experienced on the island.

The hotel is very expensive and even charges you extra for the fire pit. The hot tub is small and rather separated from the main building. The hotel is slightly off the main road and when entering it can be hard to see down a dirt road.

I am so glad we stayed here !! Perfect location

The rooms are amazing,the and pillows outstanding,nice and cozy! The view from the balcony!!wow!! The beach ,could it get and better,the sunsets oh yeah ❤️the staff awesome!! I’ll be back❤️❤️

Very poor. Booking.com did not book the room I asked for😡

A good 4 day stay. Will return.

6/10 Breakfast is difficult, no doubt. You like your eggs one way… Good variety, good staff effort.

Room 403. The fold out couch is brutal to sit on. Too long hip to knee, & too laid back. Really, try it. The bathroom door hinges need oil. They squeak, especially at night when you’re trying not to wake up your spouse.🥴

Wonderful location with beautiful views

Wonderful location, beautiful balcony views and close to the beach. Room was spacious and very comfortable.

Would appreciate cutlery and plates in the room as they provide a microwave and toaster but no utensils.

Getting into your room........ Very slow and you should be in before 4PM.........In Australia it is 2pm Check In Dog Hair found all around bottom of bed. I love dogs so l can live with that..

Amazing stay next to the Ocean. I would get back there without hesitation.

All the Hotel Rooms have an amazing view on the Pacific Ocean and the beach. The rooms are big and clean. The breakfast change every morning and is good.

Hotel is in renovation. So we had construction in front of our room the first morning. But it didn't continue during the weekend. I hope to get back there when the renovation will be finished !

of course the room and balcony are wonderful, spacious and clean. The Garden well kept and peaceful.

1. The lack of a restaurant at a hotel of this status was unacceptable. 2. The diy breakfast was very poor even by diy standards. Poor quality food and containers. Again unacceptable at this price point. 3. The all day noise from renovations in the garden should have led to a discounted rate for our stay.

Great stay and I would stay at this hotel again.

The view was fabulous and it was comfortable.

The fridge didn’t work, the TV didn’t work and the phone was dead, no dial tone. They did replace the fridge and fix the TV & phone. All good in the end.

Not a proper breakfast room for the cost of the room. A fully operational restaurant was expected for the cost.

The cost of the room could have been discounted as parking lot was being replaced, construction around the property was everywhere.

An excellent hotel, on a magnificent site.

This is a magnificent hotel, Indigenous owned and operated. The setting is glorious, on the west coast beach, with beautiful trees and lawns. The facilities are excellent and staff are kind and helpful.

The price was rather steep, even in spite of the good quality of the hotel.

Gorgeous views, relaxing stay

I was really impressed. The room was comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The views were stunning. I couldn't figure out how to work the AC so I am not sure they can be controlled by each room but it was cool enough at night with a fan.

Just the AC - I like to crank it to be super cold at night. It was May so still got a nice ocean breeze leaving the window open and with the fan on, but in an ideal world I would have cranked the AC to like 64 at night.

The Tin Wis is ideally located steps away from Makenzie Beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast is amazing, such a plus to have that included! Also the property is pet friendly which just made our stay perfect.

love the location and the beach was beautiful. love that it’s pet friendly…

honestly we should have read the fine print. restaurant is not open and the lack of activities in the evening were all off property giving it a really sleepy vibe. hot tub is small for the amount of guests … didn’t love that you can not leave your pet unattended in your room even to hop in the hot tub when you pay 25.00 extra per night for said pet.
