Amazing location, food, and people.

The property, location, breakfast and staff were excellent. Easy access to the beach and very close to town.

The pillows in the rooms were a bit too thick for us - woke up with a bit of neck pain/soreness. Not terrible.

Beautiful location and lodge! The breakfast and hospitality did not keep up or provide value for money!

Perfect location but comes at a high price! The views are amazing. The beach lodge is so comfortable and relaxing in the evenings during sunset!

The hospitality was a bit cold. This wasn’t because the staff weren’t friendly, just because there is a lot of young staff doing seasons he didn’t seem invested in the place. Policies are thrown at you by email and on arrivals before any hint of a warm welcome. Breakfast is average! lots of bread and pastries and not many healthy or cooked options. No coffee other than basic filter coffee. I personally think they need to up their game so that the food and hospitality match the location for the high price.

An amazing getaway with so much beauty and so quiet

So much privacy and the beach was also very secluded . The lodge is so homy with all the wood and being above the beach was such a stunning view

An Adventure and Serenity

The scenery was breathtaking. The trails were serene. The service was impeccable. Fresh cookies every night and all-day coffee and hot chocolate to warm up after long beach walks. Tasteful rooms and exquisite lodge decor.

The treehouses are amazing: the view, the amenities, the comfort. We enjoyed the breakfast and the lodge as well.

The length of our stay - we would have stayed longer if we could.

We stayed in the Treehouse was awesome, comfortable roomy and the best view what a great two days of sheer r&r

There was nothing we didn't like. The unit was clean and well stocked, the staff was exceptional and the breakfast was good. Lovely set up, we will return and will recommend to friends and family.

Will surelly come back!

This is our third time here. Very rustic, no TV, coffee maker, kitchenette in our room but we knew that. That's not why we come here. Super place to visit!

Fantastic and lots of fun.

Very good breakfast. Cookies were made and given out in the evening. The receptionists were extremely helpful and super friendly especially Emily James who went way out of her way to help us. Will absolutely recommend Middle Beach Lodge to all our friends.

Beautiful location, the lodge is stunning, the view is amazing. Great breakfast. Staff were lovely.

Rooms are very minimal, no TV, hot water boiler, no fridge. Walls are very thin as well.

Superb

Continental breakfast was delicious, staff were very kind and very knowledgeable; they were able to recommend places to go and even provides maps. Beds were very comfortable, rooms nice and clean. They have multiple board games/card games all throughout the hotel to play with for the last couple hours before bed.

relaxing stay

location was great. I liked how there was teas and coffees available throughout the day.

there was a funny smell from the bathroom, rooms were quite small, shower pressure was awful.

enjoyed location , not happy about dinner , could never get in.

tried to eat there for dinner but could never get in. tried to make reservations night before and said they were full. said they were short staffed. we had to drive some where else every for dinner. you would think they would make sure their guests could eat dinner there .

I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when in Tofino!

I first stayed at Middle Beach Lodge 20+ years ago and not much has changed but this isn’t a negative in fact it’s a positive. It remains the consistent in Tofino. The drive to the property is beautiful, the check in is seamless and staff on the desk are friendly and the rooms kept basic but lovely. Everywhere you walk around the property you can tell a lot of love and care has been put into keeping it looking beautiful. Middle Beach Lodge oozes West Coast Vancouver Island vibes. You simply can’t beat at the end of a busy day exploring heading down to the lounge, having a hot chocolate & a cookie and watching the sunset across Tofino. All the staff make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The included continental breakfast is basic but just enough to get you set up for the day especially the delish cinnamon buns. Rain or shine this is just a beautiful relaxing place to stay and being honest I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when returning to Tofino.

I think maybe it’s time the bathrooms had a bit of a spruce up as they are now looking a tad dated and could do with the grout having a good scrubbing but this is something minor. Also more availability in the restaurants would be welcomed as most of the nights were fully booked.

location. comfortable beds. parking facilities. bar area.

this is not a didn’t like - but more of a what could be improved. breakfast - there were limited places to sit at a table and I would have liked more variety of fruit at breakfast. a choice of dinner options rather than a set menu.

The Lodge is amazing! very comfortable rooms and an amazing view over the sea and the near beaches! you can walk a nice short trail to reach the beach! very nice stuff, very delicious food and a nice and comfortable Lobby room for all guests with siiting facilities and an around view! magic, we will come back😄🥰

A lovely getaway on an amazing property!

We truly had no idea where we were going and what a wonderful surprise! The location of the room was amazing! We had a beautiful view of the ocean through the perfectly placed trees and a very short walk to Mckenzie beach. The bed was super comfortable and we had absolutely everything we needed and then some, whether we were staying for a night or a month. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I look forward to coming back and staying much longer! There are many great restaurants within a close distance worth checking out, the rooms are so well furnished that cooking in is also a great option. The grocery store is amazing and there is a lot of local seafood available as well.

it was luxury and nature at it’s finest!

The view was and location was spectacular. The accommodation was so well suited to the setting. it was cozy and tasteful in every way!

Very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Middle Beach Lodge

We had the room facing the beach which was pretty phenomenal. We had the windows opened to hear the soothing noise of the water. The room was very comfy. Enjoyed the freshly baked breads provided at breakfast and cookies mid afternoon. Appreciated the coffee/tea after our return from a long and active day of hiking. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again the next time we are in tofino

This is not a complaint but wasn’t able to access the tv room on our first day
