Cheap, for a reason

About the only thing that was ok was the price, location wasn't bad

Place was not clean, meant things broken or didn't work most the time. The breakfast is definitely not worth $17.50, definitely go somewhere else.

I won’t be staying here next time I’m in town

The rooms are big Very clean

No AC so the whole hotel was hot. Felt like the heat was on even after you turned it off in the room. Had to sleep with windows open. Would have been nice but it was so noisy outside you couldn’t sleep. Staff didn’t care about the heat issue. The beds are not much bigger than a twin.

They gave us the wrong room and refused to switch it to the right room!! So my friends and I had to take turns sleeping ON THE FLOOR. Theres also no parking so we had to walk from blocks away!

Convenient stay for my convention

Very convenient location, on site parking was nice.

The ac didnt work, in fact, it made it hotter. The minimal cold air it pumped out was not enough to combat the hot air blowing out. The $100 a day incidental is a bit astronomical. I understand the purpose but can be a major deterrent.

Only stayed here because it was the only one within my budget left. Will not come back by choice.

Close to event location and breakfast staff was nice

Check-in staff was a bit rude, didn’t have the room I booked, didn’t have enough towels for the amount of people booked in the room, and didn’t provide sheets for the pull-out couch

Stay only if nothing else

Convenient

Heat was on and it was unbearable- the control panel in room did not work Shower backed up so standing in water Ceiling tiles falling down in lobby

Convenient place to stay for what I needed but the unexpected cost was very disappointing!!

I was told my bill was one price but when I went to pay, the bill was $300.00 more than stated. Very unexpected which caused a financial and stressful situation. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT AT ALL!!

That the payment price quoted was $300.00 less than what I was charged. They knew there were 2 people in the room for 3 days and we had 2 bath towels, I hand towel and 1 washcloth. The 2nd tv remote did not work, the ice machine did not work either!

I would definitely would recommend others to stay there too.

We found the last parking space. But I think you need more parking. The room was beautiful and comfortable with everything in it. Location was perfect for going to the Stadium. Found an awesome place to eat that was resonable for what we paid.

There was nothing negative about our experience at Double Tree Hilton.

Great staff but building and rooms need work.

The location was perfectly located down the road from the hospital where we were visiting family. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room could have been cleaned better, we found chards of broken glass on the floor of our room. The bathroom sink backed up and drained very slowly after every use. The website showed that there was a swimming pool on site but there isn’t.

Good overall except for the bathtub situation

The room was comfortable and staff was friendly

The faucet for the bathtub was broken the maintenance technician wasn't going to be able to get it fixed due to not being at work yet. The hotel wasted a lot of money on water

Unsatisfied customer

The location of hotel was great, staff was amazing & room size was perfect

Few outlets did not work,some lights in the room did not work. First 2 days the A/C was not working,the shower curtains were broke,toilet was dirty,broken toilet seat and the ironing board was broke. As well as a medical mask covering a rusty fire sprinkler in the restroom .

Below average in my opinion

Let's just say... I'm so glad the room was spacious and clean.

First, it was a nightmare finding parking. Second, once we finally found a parking spot on the second floor, we rang the intercom many times and no one answered. We waited outside with our luggage, for 15-20 minutes. Finally, someone answered but then they took another 15 minutes to open the door. When we got the lobby there was a huge line (guess it was busy due to a concert in town), but there was ONLY ONE PERSON at the front desk. She was not only taking care of the huge line but also, answering calls and finding solutions for whatever issues other employees were having. At least she was nice.

Never again

The staff was nice.

The shower in my room smelled like a toilette backed up in it. The door wouldn't close all the way unless forced a bit. I asked for a city view room, there wasn't much of a view. I booked 2 rooms and they weren't close at all room 406 and 606 2 floors apart. Over priced and not worth the stay. Had to ask for new sheets, stains on the ones in 606.

On average, It was a good choice because of the location, gym and breakfast included.

Location and size of the room.

Wifi needs to be reconnected all the time. Gym could be bigger and have more work out machines Breakfast was pretty good but should vary. Market was very incomplete: no more sodas available for purchase after day 2 of my 5 days stay. The hotel almost charged me the breakfast bills when it was already included in my booking reservation. Once I notified of the mistake, they undo the operations and only charged me the tips, which was ok. Furniture little old and many broken things in my room that could be easily fixed.

Not able to handle a concert night!

The room was not ready, not enough parking, and staff seemed very overwhelmed with the amount of people checking in and mistakes that were happening. The lobby bathroom should be open, but wasn’t, having to wait in line for 50 minutes to check in and ask other hotel guest to use key to get into bathrooms. This is not acceptable.

I would t choose the downtown location again. St. Louis park location was great

Elevators smelled like pee. And they only give you clean towels if you stay there for 4 nights.

There was no air conditioning in the room....their were no comment or mention about the air conditioning system being down.... nor was it mentioned at check in by front desk.... it was mentioned after it was brought to their attention.

Unreliable service and stressful

We couldn’t check-in til after 6pm because they were behind in cleaning rooms, so my husband ended up missing the concert. We wanted to ensure we had a room so he stuck around and waited. The parking lot was overflowing and my car ended up getting damage. This was even after the parking attendant parked me. I wouldn’t stay here again.

the hotel is fine. the service was a problem.

morning one I called the front desk to ask for more coffee. there was only one packet that wasn’t decaf. I was gruffly told that housekeeping wasn’t in but they’d bring up some later. later was in the afternoon when it’s after I want my morning coffee. that same afternoon I noticed they didn’t clean the room—which is ok—so I called down for some clean towels for the next morning. they never came. we reused the wet towels.
