Felt like stepping back in time.

You have to like trains to stay here. This didn’t bother me, but the track was pretty close to my assigned room. My late checkout was approved but not honoured.

Was not on meal plan, but food excellent. Staff very friendly.

This is set up mostly for families. As a senior, with a walker, was told we had 3 stairs to our room and we had five. Toilets very low, so nothing in place for a senior. I am 88 and friend 92 so we did have a few discomforts, due to our health. Other than no seniors assistance, we still enjoyed.

It was right on the lake. Lots of water activities available. On site restaurant. Heated pool. On site docks.

Remove the seaweed. Reroute the train. Light the campfire every night at 7:30 ish. Keep the grounds well kept. There were life jackets and garbage in the water, on the beach, on the grass, etc. it looks unkept. The disgusting shag rug in our room was damp as you might expect from no mind kids running in and out with wet feet and bathing suits. Get rid of that bacteria habitat. Why is it there? Everything needs to be refreshed. Sit on the toilet and look at all the ‘issues’. Provide ear plugs in the room to mitigate the noise from the trains running within 80 feet of the room throughout the night. Whose idea was this?
