The Senator Inn and spa is a classic older hotel that was the cat’s meow in its day. It is still cool and classy and the staff is very friendly. It’s not brand-new but it has that classic older style that is really fun.

The Covid era housekeeping standard was unexpected and not appreciated.
Asking to have the sink cleaned after a few days stay seemed something that shouldn’t have needed asking. The soundproofing was the worst I’ve end, especially in a higher priced lodging.

The staff was slow and in-hospitable. They spent too much time talking to each other and bad-mouthing one another. They acted a bit like they were inconvenienced by just checking me in and then extending my stay.
