Quite good accomodation, but it's a motel, not a hotel.

- Nice location within driving distance to Tobermory. - Fine bay, but there were too many mosquitos. - Comfortable beds. - Private swimming pool for all guests. But we didn't try it, because of weather.

- It's presenting itself as a 3 star hotel, but it's a motel. - Missing kettle. - Very slow Wi-Fi, not suitable even for common surfing. But it's possible it's a regional problem. - Quite lound fan in the bathroom that automatically switches on with lights. It could wake up other room-mates in the night.

Wonderful old historic resort on the water.

This interesting historic resort is located on the bank of Owen Sound on the beautiful Bruce Peninsula. We loved wandering over the extensive property and wished we could stay longer. The rooms are old, but very clean and well-appointed. The owner has plans to remodel and refurbish them. No breakfast is provided, but we had access to a dining room/kitchen building where we could prepare food and eat meals. That building housed a library, a collection of DVDs, games and more. The campus included a swimming pool, horseshoes, boats, a beach and beautiful lawns, trees, and shrubs.

Weather was chilly in October, so we couldn't enjoy all the facilities. Otherwise, it was a delightful stay.

Amazing place, very comfortable and vintage-looking with a breathtaking view.

I couldn't get the wifi to work for me, unfortunately, but that didn't impact my overall experience.

clening not good . need proper clening all rooms bed sheet pilo duva cover has bad small need to change after the guest checkout but it is not clen . carpet has to move . all carpet give bad small.

It was just what we needed for our weekend getaway. Easy to park close to our room.

The location was excellent as we wanted to drive up to Tobermory. It was right on the bay. The pool looked very nice although we didn't have time to use it. Next time! The staff were very friendly. Very good water pressure. Bathroom was very clean.

Can't really think of anything.

I liked the balcony and see view, but it was dirty, needed deep cleaning and new sheets and duvet. literally I paid $210

bed was noisy/ shower had many black mold 🤢/ bed cover was very very old

Lovely family place to stay

The heated swimming pool, steps to the lake( worth to bring your own boat, kayak or any water sport equipment), share kitchen and BBQ area. The terrace in our room is amazing! Absolutely love the view.

We booked the king size with lake view which is amazing but booking.com shows the room with own kitchen which misleading so we bought some food for breakfast and dinner but ended up disappointed the room without it. The photo in the Booking.com is mixed of cottage kitchen. But the view definitely amazing and we do love it very much!

As soon as we left we started planning our return trip!!!

Host was amazing beach was wonderful location was great - we kayaked & biked into town lots to do in the area (waterfalls, beaches, caves, etc)

The town closes early. Only 1 restaurant in Wiarton is open past 7PM

Mentor and his staff went beyond my expectations. Location and property was excellent and liked to have stayed longer. You can really see the pride in this property

Overall very enjoyable stay and worth the money.

Stunning view from the balcony. Friendly staff. Clean room.

The suite was too compact. No sink in the bathroom. Noisy road at the front.

Very good

The view from the balcony was beautiful. Watching the sunset over the lake was amazing. Enjoyed watching a couple of old movies on the VCR in the room.

The bathroom was a bit cramped.

Good for a motel

It has a small pool and beach access. Good price during peak season.

Though it was clean, it did have a peculiar smell. But ill ignore that since we only spent a night and didn’t really spend time at the motel much.

Really loved the location and the amenities on the grounds such as horse shoes, beach, volleyball.

Could have used a couple more pillows. They were very flat. Screen door was really tough to move.
