Everyone was so friendly, helpful, thoughtful and accommodating, from Pauline who greeted us upon our arrival, helped us settle in, and bade us goodbye; to Suzanne, who charmed us as she served us a varied and delicious breakfast; to Tao who helped with our wine and dinner selections and served our delicious dinner; to the chef and his assistant whom we enjoyed watching as they cooked and plated meals for a restaurant full of people. Afterward, I asked the chef about some of his cooking techniques, especially how he cooked the delicious fish I enjoyed, and he was passionate and enthusiastic to explain how he performed his magic. The view of the lake was beautiful, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, and everything exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend the Auberge experience to everyone.

Das Hotel liegt relativ abgelegen direkt an einem See, und beim Frühstück, das sehr gut war, kann man einen wirklich tollen Ausblick genießen. Man ist hier in einer sehr günstigen Ausgangsposition für einen Besuch des Mauricie National Parks. Das Hotel hat nur wenige Zimmer und ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Dies, sowie die freundlichen Mitarbeiter im Restaurant, beim Check-In und beim Frühstück sorgen für eine familiäre, angenehmee Atmosphäre. Es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze direkt am Haus.
Wir waren lediglich vom Setup der Restaurants zuerst etwas verwirrt: Es gibt ein teures Sterne-Restaurant mit 8-Gänge-Menü im Haupthaus, und zusätzlich ein à la carte-Restaurant im Nebenhaus.
Das Hotel hat keinen Aufzug, d.h. es ist für Personen mit Mobilitätseinschränkung vermutlich weniger geeignet.
