Beautiful location on lake Joe. Lots of water front activities - kayaks, paddle boards and pedal boats easily accessible and much appreciated. Dog friendly. Windows restaurant was a great location for a birthday dinner with family - great view, good food, fantastic service. Tennis, hike around lovely lake armitage, 9 holes golf included, pontoon boat ride - so much to do!
Living room window looked out only onto the roof of the building beside - but suite was otherwise large, clean and comfortable and we didn’t spend much time there during daylight, so wasn’t a big deal.

The property is well-maintained and all the staff we talked to were very friendly and helpful. The staff at the boat rental helped us get on and off the boat safely which we appreciated it very much.
It’s a small thing but it happened to us twice during the two day stay - they keep forgetting replenishing the hand soap and we had to go request it from front desk.

Dining and dining staff was excellent
Our door lock was broken and we had to get maintenance several times in the first couple of days. The "fix" was to remove the outer cover of the lock and wait for proper repairs after the weekend. No one ever came back to fix it in the 10 nights of our stay. Mattress cover and fitted sheet did not fit and were off the bed multiple times overnight every night. Kitchen sink had a faucet that wouldn't fully turn off.
Overall this property needs major upgrades- it's too bad because we have always really loved it.
