Loved the atmosphere, the staff, the people, music, food, location was amazing. 20min outside Bancroft, plus Hastings Highlands had its own little eco-system of a café, a few antique stores, and a few other amenities.
Was not a fan of the pillows in the room, thats.. it from me, im sure my girlfriend had other things too lol

Literally enjoyed everything about staying at the Purple Palace! Checkin was smooth, price is very reasonable and facilities are adequate. It was quiet for a Friday but the pub next door was steady. My daughter's first experience in a hostel and I got to introduce her to pool in the pub and records in the lounge. Plus, it's very purple, which is obviously the best colour ever.
