The price and the staff were the only good things about this place.
We booked three rooms for one night. One of the rooms was infested with a huge number of cockroaches. Since the rooms were adjacent, I suspect they were in the others as well, we just didn't happen to see them. Although the beds were made and the rooms looked tidy at first glance, everything was very old, scratched up, and the floors were filthy.
The toilet in our room was not bolted down and moved every time someone sat on it. There was a strong chemical smell in the room—perhaps from pest control or heavy bleach—which felt unsafe to breathe.
Additionally, there were homeless people loitering right outside our rooms, which was very concerning. A security guard was patrolling all night; I’m not sure why, but it made us feel like the area might not be safe. If you urgently need a place to stay for just one night, it might do, but please be cautious.
