Best Western Fairfax City

Bed was excellent. Very Comfortable. Heating AC worked very well.

Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment.

Clean, nice rooms and easy to get help from staff when needed.

I didn’t dislike anything.

The beds were hard as can be so not a good nights rest. Other guests didn’t follow the rules and were throwing cigarettes over the balcony. Another guest thought it was appropriate to take pictures of female guests in the pool who they were not related to and made several female guests and children uncomfortable.

The room was okay, but the lighting in the bath area was terrible. I was forced to take a lamp from the sitting area and place it near the sink so that I could have enough light to put on my makeup.

When we arrived, it took forever for this person to find our reservation. Then they never explained how to find our room. Now, this may seem odd, but the rooms in this hotel are not easy to understand, and the signs pointing to the rooms make no sense at all. On one side of the building are ALL THE ODD-numbered rooms, and the EVEN-numbered rooms are completely on the other side of the building. No one at the desk bothered to explain that or give us a map of the building. I had to help a guest find her room. Everyone had the same issue. Breakfast was not good. Items that should have been kept hot were cold.
