Front desk staff were so friendly and willing to chat about ideas of things to do and give directions when needed. We stayed at some 5 star hotels this trip yet these staff were the friendliest :)
The balcony to sit on in suite was amazing. Such great views of Banff.
You couldn't ask for a better downtown location.
The housekeeping after initial check in was below par. They basically pulled up sheets and placed pillows on, not made properly. They didn't replace towels that were wet from spa even though we put where the sign said to replace.

**Location:** Excellent location right in the heart of Banff—very convenient for walking around town, restaurants, and shops.
**Room:** Cozy, comfortable, clean, and had a wonderful mountain-lodge feel.
**Breakfast:** We really enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated having it available during our stay.
**Service:** The service was truly above and beyond. Our flight was canceled unexpectedly, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and worked with us to adjust our stay to our new travel dates. Their kindness and flexibility made a stressful travel situation so much easier. We really appreciated how well they took care of us!
The only minor issue was that the lodge was quite busy, so we weren’t able to get an early check-in. However, we completely understood given how busy they were, and it didn’t take away from our overall experience.
