Nicest hotel near the beach!

Vraiment beau, comme neuf confortable et plusieurs belles attentions. Nous y retournerons c’est certain. Really nice place! Very comfy and clean! I highly recommend!

Very good

very clean, well stocked kitchen and bathroom.

the bed was atrocious....a double bed is a rarity, it was 'lumpy', uncomfortable. you need to start putting in at the very least 'queen' size beds with firm mattress. the TV was in a terrible position to view.

Very good

It was a self container unit with well equipped kitchen and the bed was comfy. The staff was also so friendly and helpful.

It felt quite expensive for what it was. No views but that's difficult to change.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff, good location

Excellent and very helpful staff. Clean rooms, right across from Beach 2. Allowed late check outs.

Street noise was a lot at night if facing street. On The Expensive side, considering I had to take out my own garbage and clean the dishes.

we loved Wasaga beach but with 2 young teens in tow we hoped to be closer to the beach. We will have fun no matter where

The room was clean and the management allowed us to check in early which was super nice. beds were comfortable. Kitchen supplies were of good quality.

Well… understand first that we have traveled a lot and have stayed in places from hostels to fancy… and we used to run 5 Airbnbs…although this place was clean it was extremely basic. we paid high end price - more than I have paid at the Hilton or Sandman and there was not even housekeeping. we had to make sure everything was cleaned or they would keep our deposit. not that we wanted to be messy but I did not want to worry about cleaning on an expensive summer vacay. We prefer not to have air conditioning but the screen on the sliding door was broken. I have prescription for medical cannabis but was not allowed to smoke on the balcony so even in down pouring rain I had to walk to the beach behind to medicate. Felt like we were being gouged with such a high price for literally just beds to sleep in. When asked for walking time to main beach area we were told 10 mins but it’s actually 20 - 10 if you are jogging. Water pressure was low and would not rinse out my thick hair. Only enough hot water for maybe 2 showers if you are really quick. I understood when I booked the property that it was booking into a hotel with hotel amenities but it’s more of an Airbnb where you have to do everything yourself- which is great if you know that but kinda sucks when you have already paid and find out on check in.

Fabulous Family Fun Filled Weekend Stay at Riverdocks

Location, accommodation, staff, guests was all perfect for our family. Shared 2 bedroom suite, second floor with our adult son and his wife. The primary bedroom with ensuite bath allowed them their privacy with a door separating their space from main living space which had kitchen, dining area, living room, another full bathroom and our bedroom. Balcony overlooking river was breathtaking. Cha was only staff we met and she was so welcoming and was happy to accommodate our request for earlier check in. She sent a text night before stay letting us know we could check in 2 hours sooner and even come earlier just to park and enjoy the outdoor space, which is amazing. Beautiful intimate backyard ambiance overlooking river with a variety of seating, from Muskoka chairs in the sandy space or under trees, to dining tables and couches in the green space. Also lovely walk across the road to beautiful Georgian Bay Beach area 2. There is also a road to beach across street so you can load up your car with all your beach stuff, drop off, take car back to motel and return to beach within a matter of 15 minutes and hopefully family has already set everything all up! Also, this is a family friendly environment. None of that late night nonsense Wasaga can be known for.

Only minor criticism regarding cleaning. I would suggest a good sweeping of the walls, corners and ceilings of cob webs.

The best place to stay at Wasaga Beach!

I almost don’t want to right a review, because I don’t want others knowing how wonderful this place is. The location is to die for, right between the river and the beach, walking distance to the beach and a short walk to the main strip. The rooms are large, spacious, clean and have everything you could need. BBQ’s, basketball and plenty of green space to enjoy. The manager Cha is fantastic too. So kind and responsive to your needs. She really made the stay that much more enjoyable with her warm and friendly personality. we will be back again and again and again 🤗

Relaxing, quiet, family friendly. Away from the strip right at the beach. Great outdoor space.

Cha was excellent and so was everyone else. We had an amazing time, we felt welcome and the place was beautiful! We will definitely be back. It’s clean regulars all stay there it’s quiet and close to the beach. My husband and son just got back and we had an amazing week! Thanks for everything! See you next time! The place has everything you need and suite was lovely. Customer service here is 10/10!

I wish there was a campfire, but I get it it’s a small area outside.

The location is excellent. The two bedroom suite is large and extremely clean! The beds are sooo comfortable and the view of the river is beautiful!

The unit could have used lamps in the living room and cushions on the couch!

Excellent location . Very friendly I needed a few thing in the room . Received it right away ,

We could have used more pots and pans . Dishes needed a strainer for food . Can opener was from the 19hundreds !!! Lol more glasses needed a sharper knives to cooked also When added I got it .

It was ok. Nice accommodations but balcony issue was not desirable.

Proximity to Beach was good. The balcony was thought to be overlooking a body of water but it was the road.. so not used and extra money was paid.

A higher floor would have been preferred and the extra cost for the balcony was useless for a front road facing room. Next time if I come I would mention that. It was not desirable.

Disappointing.

The beach is a 5 min walk. The MAIN beach is a 15 min walk. Staff at reception (5/5).

Studio 110, on the first floor. Very expensive for what you get. It feels and smells like a cheap motel. Small bathroom, with shower only, no bath, no shelves for personal toiletries. No cleaning, no towel replacement done by staff. Clients are responsible for their own garbage removal; please, at least, provide enough garbage bags! The kitchen would benefit from having a cutting board, small cutting knifes, coffee whitener. Iron and iron board would be nice to have. Very noisy air conditioner. The TV quality is very poor (snowy). and the placement of the tv makes it difficult to watch. The 1st floor windows are partially covered with a frosted film, for privacy. It is as BAD good idea; from inside you can’t see outside and you feel stuck indoor. This place is not adapted for people with walking limitations; there is no elevator.

Best place in the area !

The property was well maintained, the office attendant was a super friendly! Was nice to sit by the river and yet so close to the beach as well. I would return in a heartbeat.

The television quality was very poor and snowy . When it rained and we were stuck indoors.

The facility was great and would recommend it to anyone looking for quick access to beach and river.

The staff (especially Cha!) were amazing. They resolved our issues immediately and provided top notch service with a smile. The rooms are well built to keep the noise to a minimum (even facing the street). The BBQs were clean and access to the river was a bonus for kayaking. The ground floor room provided easy access to our cars and BBQ.

We were surprised not to have recycling facilities in the room or on the premises at all. We were told that Everything goes into the large bin out back, and that the private company collects it all together then recycles it at their facility. To be determined... Our room (103) could have a few more kitchen supplies to accommodate a large group who want to cook (large mixing bowls, large spoons, spatulas, juice/water container for the fridge, a couple more sharp knives, an extra pan, tea pot, kettle, etc.). The kcup machine was ok for a quick coffee but some of us prefer tea (and the ability to steep it) or hot chocolate. A few more cleaning supplies would mean guests could tidy up better after themselves as well.

Very good and fun

Very close to beach 2. Rooms were clean. The manager Cha was great and extremely helpful, she is good at making the customers feel welcomed. Great experience especially if you want an upscale place to stay in Wasaga. Great for families.

Polite receptionist- but rest was just ehhh

Ummm well nothing .. just polite receptionist !! 5/5 for her ..

There are so many centipedes/ milipedes on the doors and on floors on the chairs .. property is not well cleaned . river’s boardwalks is full of poops .. very untidy .. no cleaning done ..
