For the price it was okay, but looking back we would've paid the extra $2-300/night for nicer place.

Affordable. The staff was relatively kind.

Bed extremely uncomfy. Common room left open/unlocked. Door to our room felt unsecure. Windows let in all sound.

Hostel-level quality place offering private rooms with shared bathrooms.

Great location near lots of restaurants and public transportation.

Many of the rooms have brown wall-to-wall carpeting that looks terrible, dirty and old. It would be great if the owners removed the carpeting and just had the natural wood floors.

nous étions proche de l'événement ou nous allions la chambre est spacieuse Stationnement disponible

un des lits n'a pas été lavé car nous y avons trouvé des bas dans les draps et des papiers de bonbons. les murs sont sales poils et cheveux et poussiere un peu partout murs sales et stores horizontaux tres sales

I was waiting in the lobby 10 minutes or more for someone to shows up. During this waiting time I heard some mice. Then I notice we have Shar bathroom outside the room. We left and ask for cancelation.

Will never return. bathrooms & rooms are way too old

Nothing. The lobby was dirty. It can be old but they can make the place cleaner. The bathrooms are way too old. They need to renovate to make it look cleaner and presentable to the guests

Everything! My whole family felt all creepy of the place. Glad we only stayed for a night.

Good for a few days of backbacking

Very friendly and helping staff. Good location. Close to Boston T. We did not expect too much but we slept well and felt safe. It is totally okay for a few days as a backpacker.

The bathrooms are pretty old and used up. Surfaces seemed clean"ish" though. A bit overprices but in relation to other locations in Boston, that is what you get I guess.

A place where crimes or horror films come to life. A nightmare.

Location, nothing else, and well the staff, they were nice enough to offer help carrying my luggage up the stairs, they were quite heavy, none the less he helped me without me asking for it.

The bathroom is shared amongst guests, cleanliness is poor, and the place is derelict like no other place I have ever stayed. The bed is the worst I have ever slept on, and the public areas such as halls, lobby, doors, etc. are accordingly horrible. Whilst loading my car with luggage I say a huge rat in a rat trap, 24 hours later, the rat was still there, full of bugs and flies, the staff had not taken care of this even though I told them about this the moment i say it.

I enjoyed my stay and would return or recommendor recommend.

I like New England architecture and that the hotel is an older building.

The top stairs toilet stops up a lot but at least there’s a disclaimer posted above it.

Ratio of restrooms to visitors was too small. The mattress on the bed could have been more level. There should have been some clothes-hangers in the closet. Replace the broken things: chair, nightstand, lightbulbs, ...

I was in a room in a separate building a block away… my bed had a big dip in the middle.

pleasant stay, but a little bit of extra cleaning in the bedrooms would have been nice

the location, the staff were so so kind, the place was quiet, and although shared bathrooms, I never had a problem accessing it - the bathroom was very clean and I felt very comfortable using it and sharing it. very good to have your own sink in the bathroom too

the carpet in the room was very stained and felt quite dirty, and there were a few stains on the bedding

The price

We were put in a completely different building around the corner. Almost like a college dorm room (there seemed to be college students in rooms around us). They only offer housekeeping at an additional price. They tell you to park on the street if possible or pay nightly to park in their parking lot, but street parking is all posted "permit only".

It was awesome being in Boston to see my Bruins play at home. The Boston T DOES make sense after all!

convenient location!

A little bit noisy but nothing that kept us awake really late…it was fine!

Horrible.

Don't let the photos fool you. They do look lovely, but they are probably 30 years old and it seems like the place hasn't been updated or cleaned since then. The room was in disrepair, water stains on ceiling, and not clean.
