Clean inside but really basic

Inside the rooms, there were some good upgrades like new shower tile and fixtures, new flooring (not carpet). The bedroom floor and furnishings were new and the entire room was clean. The room (king) was large. Even though the motel is right on PCH highway 1, if you are not in a front room, it is pretty quiet, especially after 10 pm. The room has an open closet with hangers, luggage rack, desk, fridge, tv. There is no light on the bedside tables, but dimming overhead lights over the head of the bed. The rooms are cleaned every morning, which is nice.

The overall the facility feels old and worn. The building just has rooms on 2 floors over the parking lot. There is no shared public space. The parking on Friday night was tight. Every space was filled and I had to move a bin to access a narrow space between a wall and a pillar. It was not possible to park out on PCH. The place overall was a 6, and I think the other reviews rank it too high.

Best hotel experience and low cost- win/win!

Great views, helpful staff, the room was very clean and bright, definitely felt comfortable like we were at home except we were walking distance to the beach.

Family-owned, small business. The family and housekeeping staff were very accommodating and kind. Walking distance to Mother's Market, Starbuck's, Anaheim Bay marina, and good restaurants/bars.

Location right off a major highway is loud, noisy.

Disappointing

The room looked OK when we first checked in . We got there late . The floors were dirty behind the bathroom door was nasty . The had hair on the walls from previous people . I would have left if I could have found another place . Will never go back to this place again .

It was an amazing stay, just a little uncomfortable.

The bathrooms and hotel room was very nice and very comfortable. Front desk very helpful. Great location and 6 min walk from the beach.

There was an man who kept staring/ watching us every time we left / came back but besides that it was great.

we rebooked at starlight. much better.

did not stay. was not Huntington Beach. we needed to stay close to newborn grandchild. I thought we were close. way far off. I need to research more about location.

a dump. no first floor. could not open door to get into office. we made a mistake. need to be careful and research more.

Location was good. The facility is pretty aged and "bare bones" bit it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Would've liked bedside lights and more comfortable seating...just 2 hard desk chairs.

Ice machine was broken. Also room was on 3rd floor with no elevator! For 2 seniors with heavy bags...hard to get there. As before, didn't like overhead can lighting instead of bedside lighting.
