Westport Station Motel

Overall this motel was great! I loved that there was a restaurant (very limited menu) within walking distance as well as a convenience store close by. Front office reception was excellent (Heena)answering any questions, very accommodating of any requests, offering information etc. The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a room with 2 Queen beds and one bed had dirt or maybe a stain on the sheet- looked like something was brushed up against it - but would not easily clean off. I mentioned it to the office and they were very apologetic. There were adequate amounts of toiletries, but the bar of soap for the shower could have been a bit bigger😊 I also enjoyed the chairs that were available to sit outside our door. I think the added features of the fire pit and gazebo were great - but we did not use them. I was amazed that you were not able to hear anything from the rooms on either side of us.

The one thing I had trouble with was the air freshener that was placed in the room. I reacted strongly to it and had to remove it. It was rectified with the office help the second night. The other thing that bothered me was the shower curtain in the bathroom. I think it needed to be changed and washed- it smelled bad. I had trouble with the pop up ads on the tv- but didn’t ask for help so it probably could have been fixed had I asked😊

The staff! The lady who checked us in was wonderful! Very helpful and friendly.

The manager was friendly and helpful. I asked about refilling coffee and he gave me a pile of coffee pods. The location is good, we could walk for diner. The shower was big and really good.

It had a chemical smell like maybe odor neutralizer used after someone smokes. Overall renovated, but the couch has seen better days. For a motel not bad.
